Intra-Cultural Outreach
"... to create opportunities for those cultures to teach, preserve, and perpetuate their traditions, values, and skills, as well as implementing new skills that increase the ability of those cultures to achieve self-determination ..."
Intra-cultural outreach is a major aspect of the WKI vision - one that we take very seriously. Our goal is not to step in and do for or instead of, but to simply help make it possible for people to what they want and believe is necessary to do for themselves. To do that, we serve in various capacities including fiscal agent and/or technical consultant, occasionally as a co-sponsor or partner, and by providing grantwriting assistance or services if necessary. To date, we have been honored to assist the following organizations:
- Native Indian Heritage Organization (NIHO) - Rosebud SD
Fiscal agent, grantwriting, technical consultation - Web of Life Enterprises, Inc. (WOLE) - Sterling KS
Technical consultation - Native American Culinary Association (NACA) - Window Rock AZ
Fiscal agent - Elders to Youth Cultural Immersion Activity (EYCIA) - OK
Fiscal agent, grantwriting - Two Rivers Mounds Coalition - Sevierville TN
Fiscal agent, technical consultation

With the exception of WOLE and the EYCIA, Donations under $250 should be made directly to the organizations. Donations of $250 or more for which you plan to seek tax credit must be receipted by Wisdom Keepers, Inc.
WOLE is 501-c-3 and can accept any donation directly. EYCIA does not have a web site. Please send any EYCIA communications to devmgr at wisdomkeepers dot org and we will forward for you.
